About Sascha Dutta
I’m Sascha Dutta, Founder of the Foodpreneurs Collective and Ex-Founder of Marketing Strategiser. I’m passionate about helping F&B SMEs globally and started out running the Foodpreneurs Collective Community group on Facebook as a place for any entrepreneurs in the F&B industry to connect, support each other and ask any questions before I launched this website.
I’m a Freelance Marketing & Events Management Consultant and Mentor specialising in Marketing Strategy, Event Management and Community Building for Food & Drink SMEs.
I’ve spent most of my life living & working in the UK, but I lived and worked in Germany & Belgium for a few years during my corporate days. I only relocated to Dubai in 2023.
I have over 15 years corporate marketing experience working in Brand Management and New Product Development for companies like Pepsico, Coca-Cola, AB WorldFoods, Muller Dairy, Geest Foods Europe (now Bakkavor) and Marston’s Brewery before I became a Freelance Marketing & Event Management Consultant & Mentor.
I’m a Chartered Marketer with the CIM Diploma in Marketing and an Advanced Diploma in Strategic Social Media Marketing, as well as being the Lead Ambassador for FoodHack London (a community of +1300 food & drink entrepreneurs) for 3.5 years before I became the Lead Ambassador for FoodHack Dubai in 2023.
I’m also the Co-producer and F&B Branding Expert on the Advisory Panel for F&B Investor Pitch Events run by Pitch Lounge and a F&B Business Mentor with the UK Government’s ‘Help to Grow’ Management Programme.
Past marketing clients I’ve worked for include Gut Drinks, Your Creative Vision Ltd, Zepice Ltd, The Spice People, Chimi Love, Yofi bio, Irie Sea Moss, CrystalNutri as well as the household favourite Terry’s Chocolate Orange. I’m happy for you to contact any of them to ask about my work.
I’m also an Ambassador for Free From Food Dubai Expo, Forward Fooding Ambassador, Marketing Consultant at GourmetPro and recently named one of the 99 most influential women in global agrifood-tech by TheFoodCons.
Regarding events I regularly co-produce Pitch Events, Workshops, Panel Discussions and Networking Events both in-person and online with a particular focus on the UAE, Saudi & Europe. Past events I’ve been involved with include Free From Food Amsterdam, Saudi Foodpreneurs startup programming at The Saudi Food Show, HackSummit in Switzerland, Green Shoots startup programming at Gulfood Green, pitch event & panel moderation at Food Security Summit X Dubai and pitch event at Organic & Natural Expo/Free From Food Dubai.
I’m available for speaking engagements like panel discussions, pitch events, podcasts and webinars, either to host or as a guest speaker.
